Today I was out for a walk

and it felt like the smell of poop was following me everywhere. Sure enough, I had stepped on someone else's dog poop… I for one own three dogs, and when they poop I make SURE that i'm watching them, and although I don't always the ability to carry it out, I always make sure to put it in a poo bag (The city provides these to us FREE OF CHARGE), and put that on the side of the trail.

The plastic these poo bags are made of is biodegradable, it may take 20 years but surely it will eventually turn into soil. I would much prefer poo bags everywhere than having to deal with the smell of a dogs feces on my foot.

We need to consider the fact that we're not the only people using these trails, there are other people, other dogs, other animals, all of whom don't want to step in poop. Be kind, be aware, be vigilant, and bag up that poop.

We should all be considerate, we should all use poo bags, we should all at the very least leave them on the side of the trail.

Yours truly,

A local, concerned, and considerate, Cumby dog owner.
